One of my favorite things about owning a small business is that I can take my time, research, and curate from exceptional makers and fellow small business owners. While searching for a soap company that would have minimal packaging, vegan products, and beautiful soaps I stumbled upon Rock Creek Soaps. The first thing that caught my eye were the colors in their Prickly Pear soap and that they are made right here in the USA. As I kept reading they noted that their soaps are vegan, natural cold process, gentle on the skin, sulfate, detergent, SLS, and paraben, phthalate, and preservative-free.

I have always been adamant about supporting businesses that not only care about our environment but about our communities and those in need. Rock Creek Soap's founders Rachael Brower and Jennifer Dillabaugh have created a mission lead business. Their goal is to provide employment opportunities to women looking for a fresh start. They have partnered with a non-profit rescue home HER CAMPAIGN for trafficked and abuse survivors. They are focused on providing work retraining, volunteer hours, and a resume reference to people who are currently trying to heal.
